Family Owned.

Family Run.

Farming isn’t easy, but for the Rawson’s, it is a passion!

Meanwhile Farm is a family run blueberry farm and venue just outside of Newmarket, Ontario. Established in 2014, Meanwhile has grown to become a popular summer destination for families from around Southern Ontario. We are more than just blueberries, we regularly host events, make for a beautiful outdoor summer venue, and provide hours of family entertainment for our visitors during blueberry season.

Scott, Lisa and all of the Rawson family embraces farm life and lives it to the fullest. Friends and extended family are always dropping by to help out. There’s always something fun going on.

Blueberry season starts at the end of July and runs through the end of August.  All our berries are hand picked, never sprayed and always fresh. At Meanwhile Farm, you can expect to meet lots of friendly people and tons of friendly animals. Book extra time because you’ll want to stay a while.

Tending to seven hundred blueberry plants takes a lot of work, thank goodness for a big family!

Led by the owners Scott & Lisa, the Rawson family themselves handle all the day-to-day operations.

Sam and his wife Maryanne, as well as Jared, Aly and Gemma round out the team; Scott’s parents Bob and Carol Ann are often around to lend a hand.

While running a farm itself is a full-time job, for many of us, it isn’t. From work to school, most of us spend our days elsewhere, but come blueberry season, it is all hands on deck!
